Since the fairy tale
wedding of Kate Middleton to Prince Charles happened, lots and lots of girls
have been dreaming to have their own version of it as well. It is simply
impossible for a girl to suppress her innate love for fairy tales and
everything that comes out dreamy.
In parallel with this,
wedding dresses 2013 are gradually changing as well. There are no longer any
concrete designs that will dictate what is in and what is out, since designers
nowadays are mostly reveling on the bride’s identity rather than on their own
creative intuition. Indeed, wedding dresses are being more and more
personalized and unique as time goes by.
The following are some
of the common wedding gown designs that we can see nowadays:
1.
Less is more
The
sexier looking the bride is, the better. Not that she wants herself to be
envied by a lot of girls (which is inevitable), but rather she loves to make
other men envy her husband to be as she will be the most beautiful bride ever!
2.
The simpler, the better
Yet
another Kate Middleton-inspired motif. Gone are the days when wedding dresses
obscure the natural beauty of the bride, after all, the bride herself should be
the very first thing to be noticed and not how the sequins on her dress work
against the light in the church.
3.
Shorter veils
During
our mothers’ days, the longer a bride’s veil is, the more beautiful she is.
However, that is no longer the case today. People have had enough of the
tripping segments of the brides of over their veils which do not just cover the
solemnity of their face but their entire identity as well! Rest assured that
the groom would love to make it sure that the one walking in the aisle towards
them is the very girl she proposed to, not just someone who wears a blanket
over her face.
Wedding dresses can surely
make or break the entire wedding itself. Sure enough, no one would want to
recall their wedding day with a haunting memory of an ugly dress!
