If you thought that being a bridesmaid is just a mere title to be given at anyone who the bride fancies, then perhaps you have not thought about the following scenarios written in the first paragraph. Indeed, being a bridesmaid is practically a notch harder than being the bride yourself.

This is not because the bridesmaids should look more beautiful than the bride, but simply because they will also be presented to the attendees as well, and so they should be highly presentable. Even if you are the bride, you would not want to have bridesmaids who are wearing dresses that make your beautiful wedding somehow cheap or even chaotic. After all, your bridesmaids are the women closest to your heart who you would want to share the aisle with.

Bridesmaid dresses can either make or break the entire beauty of the wedding. Even though you are not the star of the ceremony, you would want to look at your best. This is out of respect and affection for the bride and groom. And who knows, maybe your groom to be is just around the corners of the church deciding if he should get your number after the ceremony!
